Yelp is launching its “Deck the Halls with Yelp” Vacation Winterizing Fund by awarding $ 10,000 each to 10 select local businesses and helping those business owners cover the costs of winterizing projects.

Businesses must be eligible for a listing on Yelp with one to six physical locations in San Antonio, Austin, and surrounding areas, and be named by a Yelp user by 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time on December 17. .

Yelp officials said data produced from last February’s historic winter storm showed a need in Texas for specialist service professionals, including chimney sweeps, chimney services, installation and repair, according to a statement. of generators, installation and repair of water heaters and plumbing.
