The Middletown Car Show, Cruise Night on Main Street, returns in person on June 15

Due to the pandemic, the hosts have presented “Start Your Engines to Sunday Funday Virtual Cruise” for the past two years. This year’s event is in person.

Cruise Night on Main Street brings hundreds of classic vehicles that line both sides of scenic Main Street from Washington Street to the South Green from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to a news release.

“While we enjoyed the virtual Start Your Engines to Sunday Funday cruise, and the challenges of setting it up, we are thrilled to be back on Main Street this year,” said the event chair, Joe Santaniello, in a prepared statement.

“I personally believe that Cruise Night on Main Street is all about people. Walk down Main Street and talk to someone you’ve never met while listening to their car’s “story”. The feeling you get when you’re part of that person’s experience is unlike any other and that’s what makes this event so special,” he said.
