Gillette, Wyo. – Campbell County Health Patient Financial Services closed its offices in the Pioneer Building today as it moves forward with a planned move to Campbell County Memorial Hospital. The move is expected to result in significant savings for patient financial services, the organization said.

The first phase of the move ended in March 2022 when Patient Finance Advocates moved into the hospital’s main lobby, Campbell County Health public relations director Karen Clarke said today in a Press release. A Patient Financial Services staff member remained at the Pioneer Building to assist customers during the first phase.

This office closed today as the organization prepares for its move from May 16, the press release said. Patients can meet with a financial attorney about billing issues or obligations at Campbell County Memorial Hospital, next to Patient Access/Registration, or call an attorney at 307-688-2690.

A 2016 assessment determined a useful life of five to 10 years for the Pioneer building. A recent assessment showed that building maintenance costs, such as utilities, HVAC and plumbing, amounted to approximately $200,000 per year, according to published information. Improvements needed for the building’s continued use have been estimated at more than $2 million over the next few years, the organization said.
