LAHTI, Finland – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) –Oilon, the Finnish energy and environmental technology company, has signed a collaboration agreement with Trane®, one of the world’s leading providers of interior comfort solutions and services and a brand of Trane Technologies.
As part of the agreement, Trane will offer in Europe the Trane Exergy Series heat pumps designed and manufactured in collaboration with Oilon. The Exergy series units offer a heating capacity of up to 120 degrees Celsius and can replace oil and gas boilers in industrial processes, buildings and district heating applications.

In November 2021, Oilon opened a new industrial heat pump manufacturing plant in Kokkola (Finland). The capacity of the new plant is four times that of the current one.
In addition, it will further accelerate the development of the industrial heat pump activity, where Oilon has experienced significant expansion in recent years: deliveries have increased significantly. At present, the greatest demand comes from the European market, whose needs are met through cooperation with Trane.
– “We have ambitious growth objectives in the field of industrial heat pumps, which should become Oilon’s core business in a few years. With such prospects, the capacity of the new plant will only be sufficient for a few years, ”says Kukkola.
