Charles “Robert” Primm, 76, of Brentwood, TN, died Monday, July 4, 2022.
Robert was a 1964 graduate of Franklin High School and a permanent resident of Williamson County. The Primm family have been part of the Brentwood community for several generations. Robert was a lifelong fan of Vanderbilt Athletics, with a particular fondness for football and baseball. He was a huge Tennessee Titans fan and an avid collector of antique miniature oil lamps. When he wasn’t cheering on the Commodores or the Titans, he loved watching movies and television.
Robert operated a lawn care and landscaping business with his two sons for over 40 years. He never met a stranger, and there was no manufactured vehicle he couldn’t drive. He was also a talented and creative artist in many ways. Above all, Robert was a devoted son, husband and father who loved his family very much.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, Hayden Primm and Hazel Sawyer Primm, and his dark lab, Zeus.
Robert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elaine Baker Primm; daughter, Jan Primm; sons Les Primm and Jon Primm; cousins, Joe Padula, Evelyn Earheart and Jim Walton.
The family had a private funeral service with interment at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made in Robert’s memory at the Williamson County Animal Shelter.
Honorary bearers: Joe Padula, Jim Walton, Mark Layne, Doug and Sherry Kernodle, Nelson and Linda Foster, Weaver Barksdale, Roger Wright and Phil and Debra Guinsburg.
