Mulwala 56 beat Finley 46.

It was 6th against 7th in a battle for the finals. The Lions came out strong and played 4 consistent quarters. Hollie and Steph were available for every pass shooting and moving beautifully. Tess took a risk and fed those balls to perfection! Great Lions game.

Class B

Mulwala 60 beat Finley 25.

The girls came out strong with a 16-goal lead in the first quarter. EJ and Tayla missed no goals, working in unison.

Nat and Chelsea seamlessly fed the ball into the ring making it look effortless. As always, Alex worked hard in defense with plenty of tips and interceptions throughout midfield.

The defending girls played well with Freya dominating in the goal ring. Leah, Mikayla and Charli had strong hands on every ball, wreaking havoc on the opposing team with a number of turnovers.

Class C

Mulwala 41 beat Finley 33.

What a fantastic game to watch. The girls came out of the first center pass set to win, leading on each break the girls came away with their 3rd win of the season. Well done girls for next week.

C Res

Mulwala 21 beaten by Finley 80.

During the last game at home, the C Res all came out to have fun and enjoy the day. Unfortunately the Lions didn’t win but they all played a great game all over the pitch.

Bring on next week being the last game of the season with a fantastic group of girls.

Under 17

Mulwala 34 beaten by Finley 31.

The U17s came out fighting hard against Finley with great defensive pressure from Reese and Mikayla W intercepting several passes.

The midfielder worked tirelessly to get the ball in goal with Paige and Polly dominating. A fantastic win at the end with all the girls playing outstanding netball.

Under 15

Mulwala 16 beaten by Finley 35.

Saturday was the last game of the season for the 15-year-olds. It was another tough match, but the girls never gave up. Jem and Myley worked hard in goal, moving well.

Allanah was on fire in defense, earning plenty of interceptions. Milla once again distinguished herself by working hard in defense and creating play in the middle.

Ruby S was an energizing bunny, moving the ball all over the court. Abbi showed her versatility, playing at both ends of the pitch and impacting the game.

Lily was once again super aggressive both on offense and defense. Ruby T dominated in defense, getting tips on the balls.

Under 13

Rule of Mercy – Mulwala won.

The girls ended the home and away season with a solid win over Finley. It was a consistent effort across midfield, goals and defence.

Under 11

What a fantastic game to end the season! The girls played as if it was the grand finale. Call, move and pass like a winning team. Congratulations on the growth and skill development you all have shown over the season. The coaches are very proud of you all. Go Little Lions!!
