According to a tweet from V-ID, some of the entities and partners involved in the project include IBM, Hyperledger, LTO Network, Zapier and SAP, among others. The tweet notes that the VIDT Datalink solution will help “connect everything to every chain and unlock a convenient deployment for any enterprise cloud.”
For the uninitiated, V-ID is a blockchain-based document certification system that aims to provide the simplest and most robust file protection against fraud and other bad practices. The VIDT API enables organizations and businesses to certify and protect their confidential digital data from sophisticated data manipulation.
With V-ID, users can check their confidential files in 5 seconds without the need for login, plugin or additional details. V-ID introduces an additional layer of security by extracting the unique fingerprint from the authentic file and storing it in the blockchain. By further leveraging the benefits of blockchain technology through VIDT Datalink, V-ID – working with DigiByte and others – is looking to create various new projects in its rapidly growing ecosystem.
