Royal Siding new colors

Westlake Royal Building Products has introduced five new colors to its Royal Siding and Exterior Portfolio vinyl siding ranges. New colors added in shades of grey, blue-grey, brown and green are inspired by colors found in nature. Both lines feature Chromatix color protection technology to resist fading. The exterior portfolio includes shades in SmartStyles Premium and SmartStyles Expressions, while the Royal Siding palette includes Colorscapes Premium and Colorscapes Dark. The three new exterior wallet colors are: Stone Harbor, Spruce and Smoky Ash. The two new Royal Siding colors are: Silver Mist (shown) and Riverway.

Feeney DesignRail LED Track Lighting Kit

Developed to easily install into DesignRail top or bottom rails without special tools, Feeney’s new DesignRail LED Track Light Kit now accommodates a single 55′ continuous run and can be adjusted in the field for ultimate flexibility , with 4″ cut lines for reference. The lighting system is certified by UL and maintains its certification even when shut down in the field. The 24V wet location strip lights attach to the surface of the ramp using an integrated high performance double sided foam tape. Waterproof crimp fittings provide protection from the elements while plug and play connectors are designed to make it easy to quickly connect lights and components. Feeney’s energy efficient LED track lighting is rated for 50,000 hours of high output lighting for indoor and outdoor applications. Feeney has increased the product warranty for its LED track light kit to seven years for light strips and five years for power supplies.

Trex Seal Registry Tape

The makers of Trex RainEscape have introduced Trex Seal Ledger Tape, an 11-inch-wide foil-backed butyl tape specifically designed for use on a deck’s ledger. In many decking installations, there is a small gap left between the house and the decking that allows water to seep through and onto the ledger, where it can collect and penetrate the wood, eventually leading to rot. . Protecting the sill plate with proper flashing is essential to ensure the structural integrity and longevity of a deck. Trex Seal, when used as part of a Trex RainEscape system installation, combines the features of metal and flashing tape in one easy-to-use product. Reinforced with an aluminum liner, the tape covers the entire surface of the ledger panel and is designed to create a seamless seal over all gaps between the ledger and deck substructure for optimum moisture protection and water penetration.

Masonite Performance Door System

Masonite’s Performance Door System features the company’s 4-point seal of performance, which includes premium square edge fiberglass doors, Endura Products Z-hinged capped threshold, weatherstripping PE650, Simple Solution corner pads and FrameSaver rot-proof door frame. Optional upgrades include Endura’s “Best of IBS Show” award-winning PanoLock or Trilennium multi-point locks and FusionFrame. The system is offered with all Masonite exterior fiberglass doors, which are available in a variety of styles, colors and finishes, including several glass options. The system will also be offered with three new recessed panel designs in Shaker, Lincoln Park, Logan and Winslow Flush Glazed styles.

400 Series Superior Plastics

Superior Plastics’ 400 Series is a new railing system specifically designed for a beverage rail. Superior Plastics attached an aluminum receiver plate to a simple vinyl top rail, choosing aluminum for this plate for long-lasting strength. The receiver plate is pre-drilled every 12″, so the railing installer can lay a decking board over it and then, using the fixings provided in the box, secure the railing to the base plate. ‘aluminum. Since the decking board is attached every 12″ across the entire rail, there is no spacing and the decking board is kept flush with the top rail. Each boxed section includes a top rail with an aluminum plate attached, a bottom rail, balusters of your choice, brackets to attach the rails to the posts, and clips for all brackets plus the deck board. The contractor simply supplies deck boards to match the decking.

VERSATEX canvas series

VERSATEX’s Canvas Series is designed to deliver the rich look of premium woods with maintenance-free convenience. Exterior grade wood color laminates are bonded to VERSATEX WP4, Stealth Beadboard, 4″ Crown and Bed Molding profiles, eliminating the requirement for labor intensive re-staining and adding the durability and moisture and insect resistance of VERSATEX cellular PVC. Offered in nine low-gloss textured finishes – Natural Amber (shown), Driftwood, Turner Oak, Copper, Walnut, Macore, Dark Cherry, Weathered Gray and Kitami – The Canvas Series is designed for use for porch ceilings, porch ceilings, soffits, feature wall or any other exterior/interior application.

Douglas fir from the Humboldt sawmill

Humboldt Sawmill Douglas Fir rough and S4S pieces are available in a range of sizes, grades and length structures to meet your customers’ needs. Joists and boards are available in 3″ and 4″ sizes in lengths up to 24′. Posts and beams are available in sizes from 6″ and up, up to 12″ x 24″ and lengths up to 24′. Humboldt Sawmill Douglas products are graded and stamped. Humboldt Sawmill wood products are manufactured at company-owned sawmills in Scotia and Ukiah, California. Finished products are available directly from factories, as well as through company-owned distribution points in northern and southern California, Colorado, Oregon and Washington. Customer orders are shipped by rail and truck.


SPAX POWERLAGS structural wood screws are made in the USA and independently inspected and tested. The fasteners will continue to be the same product, with a color change to a black topcoat instead of the original green. SPAX POWERLAGS technical bindings are getting a makeover this season. This High Corrosion Resistance (HCR) coating provides a double barrier: first plated with a zinc basecoat, then finished with a durable topcoat. SPAX POWERLAGS are approved for exterior use, including treated lumber, and are suitable for nominal and rough dimensions of lumber. Structural wood screws are available in hex and washer head styles for a more decorative accent or finish. SPAX POWERLAGS are IRC/IBC compliant and supported by third-party reporting, including deck-ledger attachment.

Fiberon Wildwood cladding

Fiberon’s new Wildwood composite siding is the company’s first product designed for commercial siding applications. Wildwood features an open joint profile and is available in a variety of plank lengths and widths. The product is designed to be mixed and matched by plank lengths and colors to create unique, custom looks. According to the manufacturer, the siding is priced competitively with wood and costs less than most rainforest wood siding or engineered siding products. The composite core is designed to provide resistance to rotting, cracking, insects and decay. Backed by a 50 year warranty covering stains, fading and performance.

Atlantis Rail’s New Spectrum Top Rail System

Cable railing manufacturer, Atlantis Rail Systems, has released a new aluminum top rail for its Spectrum cable railing system. Previously, the company supplied the cable, fittings and poles for the Spectrum system and required the customer to supply their own hardwood top rail. Due to customer demand for an integrated top rail, Atlantis Rail has now created its new Spectrum Top Rail System. The system consists of 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ square stainless steel posts that can be face or surface mounted and a 1-5/8″ x extruded aluminum top rail. 3-1/2″ . The top rail is offered in standard lengths of 4′, 6′ and 8′. The top rail and associated fittings are aluminum and powder coated in standard and special Spectrum colors. A door can also be added using the new top rail system.

Wolf Home Products Endeavor Wolf

Wolf Home Products has launched a third finish option in its line of contemporary cabinetry styles, Wolf Endeavour. Wolf Endeavor cabinets are frameless with full access and full stacking styling. The modern shaker-style door is now available in three finishes: Polar SmartShield, Sterling SmartShield and Carbon SmartShield. The new finish, Carbon SmartShield (shown), complements a neutral palette with a dark gray option. The finish is designed to give homeowners a dark, clean hue that isn’t as saturated as black and contrasts with the lighter elements of the room. Wolf Endeavor cabinets are designed for multi-family dwellings and new home construction. All cabinets feature SmartShield technology, which the manufacturer claims is a durable finish that resists household stains and can be cleaned.

New Graywood option from Haas Door

Haas Door has launched a new wood grain color Graywood. The dark gray color is now available in American Tradition, Insulated Steel 2000, 700 and 600 series residential and commercial garage doors. Available in a one-way wood grain pattern, the Graywood color is designed to add a modern touch to any a classic grey, warmed by the element of wood. The gray tint is uniform throughout the door and the wood grain pattern shows the detail of a wood pattern clearly visible from the sidewalk. Haas Door offers a 10-year finish warranty on color.
